The JCT were narrowly beaten by Ard Scoil in a very close encounter in the Munster Junior Cup. The result could have gone any way and it was Ard Scoil who were the victors in the end.
Everyone on the Glenstal side played with distinction and by the end of the game both sides were totally and utterly exhausted after such a great contest. It was always going to be hard for the loser and both sides had their chances. However, it was Ard Scoil who came out winners in the end.
One couldn’t help thinking after the game that either side could go all the way in the Junior Cup. It was great occasion and the Glenstal players can certainly walk with their heads held high after this encounter.
